 Engineers in Technical and Humanitarian Opportunities of Service (ETHOS) is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to facilitate research and the development of appropriate technology by forming collaborative North-South partnerships between universities, research laboratories, engineers, and non-governmental organizations in foreign countries. 

The 2016 ETHOS Conference will be held in Kirkland, Washington from Friday January 29th – Sunday January 31st, 2016. The conference aims to expand its reach from previous annual meetings, encouraging participation of Southern partners, international stoves experts, and development specialists with field experience in the transfer of cooking technologies.

Conference Logistics

ETHOS 2016 will take place from Friday afternoon January 29th through Sunday afternoon January 31st.

Friday activities will begin around 4pm at Baymont Inn and Suites:

This often includes a Cookstoves 101 session, very casual snack/dinner, and slide show.  More details to come!

Saturday & Sunday events will take place at Northwest University:

Sessions will start on Saturday morning, and will end by 5pm on Sunday with stove demos.
