November 10, 2015 — November 13, 2015 | Accra, Ghana
The Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves invites its network of organizations, corporations, and individuals to attend the 2015 Clean Cooking Forum in Accra, Ghana. The Forum will bring together stakeholders to share practices, build capacity, and forge new partnerships through four days of informative sessions, networking, site visits, and clean cooking demonstrations.
This year, Alliance partners submitted more than 300 abstracts to be considered for the 2015 Clean Cooking Forum. The agenda will represent the diversity and growth of activities and partnerships across the sector. An agenda has been posted on the registration website (see link below) so that participants can begin planning their schedules.
The Alliance will hold this year’s Forum in Ghana, where the national commitment to clean cooking is strong and where government, private sector, and civil society partners are working collaboratively to spur a thriving local market for clean cookstoves and fuels. Ghana’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration Hanna Tetteh is co-hosting this year’s event, and support is also being provided by the Ghana Alliance for Clean Cookstoves (GHACCO), which will help showcase its sector’s technical innovation, market growth and future potential.
The 2015 Clean Cooking Forum offers participants an opportunity to come together with others in the sector, learn practical ways to further grow your enterprises and expand your markets, and establish partnerships to further your individual and collective efforts. Participants will also have the chance to learn about new Alliance programs to raise awareness of the benefits of clean cooking and drive demand for cleaner cookstoves and fuels toward a world in which cooking shouldn’t kill.
