Safe Access to Fuel and Energy (SAFE) is a cross-cutting issue that impacts protection and gender, environment, livelihoods, education, food security and nutrition, shelter, health, and camp management. For this reason, the SAFE Steering Committee encourages humanitarian organizations to utilize cross-sectorial, comprehensive approaches when addressing the fuel and energy needs of the world’s most vulnerable people.
